Applications to Run in 2021 Board Election Due by March 25

For more than 80 years, High West Energy members have democratically elected the cooperative’s board of directors, and that board has always been comprised of current co-op members.

At the annual meeting on June 17, you and your fellow members will have the opportunity to cast ballots in three districts: District 11, 13 and 16. If you are a High West Energy member who lives in one of these districts, you not only have the right to vote, you also have the opportunity to be a candidate for the board seat in your district.

The application to become a candidate is currently available on our website, or you can email smcgaugh@highwestenergy.com or call (307) 245-3261 to request an application and get more information.

Interested members need to submit their applications no later than March 25 so our nominating committee can review them. Should you be nominated, the information you provide will be used to create your candidate profile in Sparks and other publications.

Our board usually meets on the fourth Monday of each month to discuss a wide range of issues and to vote on matters that help High West Energy continue to fulfill its obligations to our members and the community. Directors serve three-year terms and are required to keep up to date on industry trends and legislative actions relevant to High West Energy.
